New living
New city, new house, new residency, but what happened to all of the old. I miss my life before moving here, and the fact that its so cold doesn't help. I think I'm developing Seasonal Affective Disorder.
Thank God I have my wife and son, otherwise I would be trying to pass the minutes of my life on PS3 (although that's not to say I don't do some of that now haha)

My first house
Well its not really a "house"...but rather a condo. That's the way things roll around these parts on the east coast. Plus for what you get in terms of cost does not compare to back home. For these prices, I would be living it up in a humongous house with a yard and everything...again, its different here on the east coast...urban living.
InshaAllah (God-Willing) sign the papers tomorrow. My baby boy will now have a place to grow up for the next few years while daddy finishes off his training.
Speaking of the baby boy, he is now laughing and smiling. He also makes these random noises when he tries to talk. Message me, and I'll send you links.

I'm a dad
Yup, baby boy was born in December. Its absolutely fantastic. I'm sharing the link in my facebook if you're interested.
Made a whole website for him. Being a parent is the most amazing thing in the world people. It really is a blessing.
Now when do we start training for the NBA?
PS: I passed my boards, so I'm officially a doctor. All done for now.

Interesting things today
This morning, a nurse thought I was an attending physician...nope, just a smooth looking resident.
Just before lunch, I went to wash my hands and looked in the mirror and saw some of the chocolate from breakfast covering my teeth...why oh why didn't anybody say anything?!! 5 hours of crap in my teeth people, are you kidding me?!
I found out the stroller I ordered online got recalled. The first recall in its history since 1979 and of course, affecting the stroller I bought for my future young one.
As I left the hospital, it was dark and I scared this black guy in front of me because he heard me behind him. I thought this was an ironic turn of stereotypes. "Person" scared of the black guy or the black guy scared of the Muslim?! hahaha.

Board exams
Step 3? How many of these tests do I have to take man? Its a test every year...at least this is the last of the medical school series. I'm glad to be in residency...i'll be more glad to be a full-fledged physician inshaAllah!
I live each day to save the lives of others. What a fantastic line of work.
Sallie Mae "claims" I owe them $212,000 .... however i feel i don't owe a cent. too bad, thats the cost of medical school!
But its worth it. MashAllah.
